About me
Cathy Ota is a neurodivergent mother of an autistic boy and a qualified professional in the field of behavior analysis. She entered the ABA field after her son was diagnosed with autism developmental disorder so she could be able to understand him better and also help other families.
She holds the certifications of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and an International Behavior Analyst (IBA). She completed her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Queen’s University Belfast, UK.
With over 7 years of experience, Cathy currently serves as a supervisor (RBT, IBT, BCaBA), therapist, and supports parents by training and teaching strategies to help their children. Her expertise lies in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays, especially early intervention.
